Background/History:

Sci-Why Design and Engineering opened its doors in 2012 and is based out of Columbus, Ohio.  Sci-Why Design and Engineering is the endeavor of inventor and engineer, Daniel (Danny) Staudt, PE.  He attended Cedarville University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He holds a professional engineering license in the state of Ohio.  His interests range from the arts to the sciences, from the quirky to the complex.  He is a member of the Idea Foundry (www.ideafoundry.com) and part of the hackerspace / makerspace movement bringing desktop manufacturing to the masses.  Previously Danny worked in composite material research & development and as an engineering consultant for the construction industry.  As a matter of interest, he has been involved with experimental unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV, aka “drone”) design since 2007.  Sci-Why Design and Engineering was created as an inventive outlet for developing his own product line as well as offering his design services to make your potential products a reality.
